fundid sells funded runtime. No subscription, no recurring charge. Money in a jar buys server time. Nothing else. The rest, in plain words:
- Closed-loop credits. A top-up buys funded runtime for the named app's jar. Jar credits are a prepayment for hosting — they are not a deposit, an investment, or a balance you can hold with us.
- No cash value. Jar credits never convert to money and cannot be cashed out, by anyone — including the app's creator.
- Non-transferable. Credits belong to the jar they were poured into. They can't be moved between jars or between people.
- Refunds. On request, we refund the unspent portion of your top-up to you, the original payer, on the original payment method. No questions, no fee from us (payment-processor fees may not be recoverable).
- Hibernation, not deletion. When a jar runs dry the app sleeps; nothing is deleted and nothing is held hostage. Anyone can wake it by adding fuel.
- Wind-down. If fundid ever shuts down, remaining jar balances are refunded pro-rata to their funders before the lights go out.
Questions about any of this? The answer is always visible on the jar page — burn rate, ledger, runway. No surprise has ever come out of a fundid jar.
